Your peace

I love that you come to me when you bleed.

When the strength in you fades away,

I become the shower you cry under,

And the closet you hide your fears.

I love that I'm your comfort blanket,

When the nightmares scare at dusk,

When the thunder claps arrive,

With the windy storm at dawn.

I love that I'm your call away,

When the enemies at your gate,

Proceed to crumble your beauty walls.

When your Shadows hunt your steps,

I'm glad to be the peace you call,

That calm your troubled waters,

Yet tame its concealed sharks.

And when you walk out that door again, healed

Walking towards another brokenness

I wonder when you'd realize I need Healing too

From the times I'm broken from healing you
