Brothers Across Nigeria [Thus registered with Nigerian Cooperate Affairs Commission] is a non- political organization and a non social club. With main aim of charity and also denounce oppression, corruption, tyranny, human rights violations and all forms of societal abuse. It abhor non-progressive conventions that are detrimental to the societies we live in.



The organization also believes in the promotion of societal values, the upliftment of the oppressed; and membership is open to people of like views who posses the needed spirit of COMRADESHIP and CHIVALRY (who are fortunate to be selected after a thorough and rigorous set of interviews) to uphold the values that are in accordance with the demands of leadership and good citizenry.

In their[B.A.N] eyes, everyone is equal and deserves equal opportunities, devoid of fear or favour. They embrace a philosophy of “BRODA DELIVER BRODA” which expresses their belief in teamwork and communal progress through selflessness, sharing, and protecting others in their time of weakness or vulnerability. Implicitly, every member is challenged to give and to support his broda and to expect the same in return.

As Sea Lords, no challenge is considered too daunting The courage that has propelled their fearless and progressive stance on issues of public probity is traceable to their cherished motto of “NO PRICE NO PAY” which means that every hard work got reward, in championing causes that positively impact the societies we live in. They conduct their struggles on the high planes of dignity and discipline.

Brothers Across Nigeria has weathered many storms and is beginning its 5th decade as a vibrant organization with a social and moral conscience and proper brotherliness amongst its members and the society in general. The organization is a worldwide organization with presence in most parts of the world including the United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA), Canada, South Africa, and Mainland Europe.

The organization stands for love and has done a lot of charitable deeds in the past. In the nearest future will make educational materials available to the general public and provide funding to other registered charitable organizations focusing primarily within the following areas and concerns:
1. alleviating and addressing the root causes of hunger and food insecurity.
2. early detection and treatment of Eye problems and other widespread health concerns.
3. prevention and treatment of childhood illness, disease, and other children’s health and well-being concerns.
4. Drug Abuse and prevention.
5.protecting and restoring the environment.

THE HAITI EARTHQUAKE

7.0-Magnitude Earthquake Devastates Port-au-Prince, Haiti (Jan. 12): The beleaguered country of Haiti was dealt a catastrophic blow when a magnitude 7.0 earthquake strikes 10 miles southwest of Port-au-Prince, the country’s capital. It was the region’s worst earthquake in 200 years. The quake levels many sections of the city, destroying government buildings, foreign aid offices, and countless slums.

The United Nations mission in Haiti was destroyed, 16 members of the UN peacekeeping force in Haiti were killed, and hundreds of UN employees were missing. Brothers Across Nigeria contributed immensely to mobilising and rebuilding the country.

Eliminating avoidable blindness and promote equality of opportunity for disabled people in the developing world It’s their sincere belief that the best way to provide long term eye care in the developing world is to help build up sustainable infrastructures in the communities in which we work.

Sightsavers supports the principle of inclusive education. This is where children who have a disability such as being blind or visually impaired are included in the mainstream education system.
