Hell's Clif

I've been dangling from hell 

swinging from cliff to cliff 

Grips on broken ropes 

And shaken hopes 

Stabbed and bitten 

By snakes and haunting smiles 

Dragged through the mud 

By drowning Egyptians 

And pirates of the Red Sea 

But I'm clinged to my Moses dreams 

No deaths in the struggle 

Or exhausted Passion 

I might dangle from hell 

But I'm swinging to paradise
