She is Africa
She is bare and fruitful
she is plain and vast
She is green and wonderful
raw in the past
She is ebony and beautiful
she is white and black
She is green, brown and blue
not pale, her garments are colorful
She gained recognition within strangers
She was robbed in the past
stripped of her inheritance
Exposed to wretchedness but she smiles in the face of danger
She is still blessed beyond visual substance
Her crumbles of nature fed the foreign scavengers
She is often adored by transients from traveled distance
she over time becomes greater
she is vague and misunderstood
she is entertaining in muse
she clings to her cultural values
she is radiating in raw beaut
Her glamor isn't artificially induced
she is free of foreign curses
Her labour in the fields feeds the universe
She is Africa!
