Sally Island 16
Lying on his back on dried up grasses, Ike found comfort in such discomfort and wasn't even bothered about being around the house his girlfriend was being scolded in. This was the major reason why he fails, he never pays attention to details of his surroundings. Constantly living in the moment within a moment, blinded to caution and clogged with maximum desire for pleasure. He always wants to make a good story, and he always does regardless of the image it paints on his personality. I would think it was not easy to explore his sexual desire on brains that don't work, but he manages to come out of it alive. In the heat of the sexuality, Ike had gone far again but somehow their granny found a way to break up his second shot for the evening. Sending Sook back into the house, she scolded Ike so hard this time he couldn't stand the shame. It wasn't a bed of roses initially for Ike that his girlfriends granny dressed in her all white night gown keeps appearing like a ghost when he is naked. It would be smart to take off at that time and it was the only thing on Ike's mind, he didn't say a single word as he dressed up and picked his bag.
The spark of fire within his eyes only told one story, it didn't seem like he had learnt his lesson. He was rather very up set with the granny's constant rude interruptions. Rinie overheard her granny and she listened to ascertain the scolding wasn't for Ike. She had a bottle of wine she usually drinks to cool her mind down whenever she was upset. She listened and didn't hear Ike utter a word, her granny had gone to finish up the scold on the stream incident with Ike who was supposed to have left long ago she thought. Maybe he wanted to see her before he left, just maybe, she assumed. She held the old wine bottle firmly and staggered through the door, "where is my man?" She asked, walking past Sook and her granny obviously drunk, she inquired further for Ike. Ike had slowly walked a few distance away from the house in rage, headed home. He obviously wasn't remorseful, this didn't sit well with the granny as she felt insulted. She was trying not to hurt the feelings of her two grand daughters who obviously didn't know they were being played by Ike. But as Rinie insisted on running back to Ike to beg him to come back, she lost it and decided to spill it all for a better understanding to her grandchildren.
"You are here messing with these humans and allowing them to use your head" the granny scolded Sook. "That was exactly what got your mother killed, I wonder why you and your sister won't learn from your mother's mistakes. After their mom was banished with her children from their world, as they were Mutubus, they found a place on Sally Island and settled and determined not to get involved with anyone. It was always lonely for their mom who always loved company, but since their father refused to go into banishment with them, she found herself solely alone in the land of the humans. Disciplined not to get involved with humans, she stayed lonely not until a man who recently also settled on the island came along one day helplessly asking questions on how to get around. Within a few weeks, their mom was in love again, not knowing her lover was an outlaw on the run from another village. One day he met with his water loo, she was with him and in an attempt to resist arrest, they were both killed. It pained their granny because she had to leave the comfort of her world to come take care of the children, and seeing what was happening with her grandchildren, she wasn't pleased at all.
"How can you and your sister be having sex with the same man?" She asked in anger. It was at this point Sook realized what had been going on. Ike didn't care to mention, she immediately got angry and was calling on Rinie to come back. Rinie didn't know too, sook was sure if Rinie knew, the reaction would be more than her's. Rinie never puts herself in situations she comes out of regretting. Ike had taken advantage of them, well not so much on Sook's side because she came on to him on her own but she didn't care still. Rinie walked home sad, she was wondering why Ike wouldn't want to spend time with her, she thought he was initially waiting for her and now he didn't want to stay back again. In sadness she walked sluggishly home taking more gulps of wine in sight of lessening the weight of missing Ike. Looking at Sook and her grandmother with a straight face and arms folded in, she had expected them to scold her for running after him, but her ears met with a different news. It didn't take much for her to flip into a full Mutubu, she hadn't turned into one in almost a year. She found a way to stay out of trouble and the necessity of turning into a beast. She didn't cherish the fact that she turns into a fiery dog. Her grandmother explained how she lurked them as a dog to be sure Ike had good intentions. Caved into a corner of their escalating emotions, they took off after Ike.
Ike walked alone down the narrow path that led to the Cabin, under the smile of the half moon. He was muttering in anger earlier but then his mind had wandered off the events of the evening, dabbling on several different thoughts, he had forgotten how his evening went basically, he would think James was still waiting at the Cabin for the download of the events, but James was far gone. He had been kidnapped by the slave traders who invaded the island that night. After a brief tussle, he didn't give up without a fight, James was out numbered by the men who came for him and was thrown on the slave ship which would sail away even before Ike would get to the Cabin. Ike's mind was still far gone as he noticed two dogs on a fast pace after him, trying to take off quickly he forgot how slippery the path was and a swift slip left him flat on the floor, at the mercy of the dogs with their huge scary faces on his own face dripping saliva all over him, to his head, he had reached the peak of his luck and was about being devoured by wild dogs. In the heat of the action, he saw Rinie's grandmother behind the dogs trying to hold them from devouring him. Was he dreaming?
