Scanty forests with flourishing woods

On nature's playground 

Foreigners on safari trips 

Even the sun rays feel cold here 

How am I not living here? 

This is Africa 

The Way Africa should be 

This mountain heals 

Kajiado county is a blessing 

Sight of the great Rift valley 

Extending all the way to Uganda 

Shadows of clouds 

Darkening little communities 

Visible across the plains 

While sun rays hit the lucky parts 

Contrasting to make a beautiful landscape 

Like a painting made in harvest 

Not just the other side this time 

The grass is greener on every side 

Kompass zipline 

Natives on dirty hoodies and neat smiles 

Trees with tidy roots 

Nollywood on TV screens 

Power transmission plant 

Generated from the turbines
