My Only Nightmare

I woke up to you again 

My dreams 

As though I wasn't with you in my sleep 

Rushing for a kiss 

With my yawning lips 

As though I didn't  make love to you in my dream 

Smiling like you cracked a mild joke 

Maybe during my trance 

I sleep with a smirk on 

Strange things you do to me 

It's like you changed last night 

To someone better 

That's when I have sweet dreams 

Because when you are sad 

I'm left with only nightmares
